GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Matt B joins Black Tapestry at AfroTech 2026.

Artist, producer, filmmaker and creative visionary Matt B creates at the intersection of music, identity and cultural storytelling. Blending Afrobeats, orchestral music, R&B and cinematic filmmaking, his work connects audiences across continents while celebrating the stories, traditions and connections that shape who we are.

His acclaimed ALKEBULAN trilogy brings together collaborators from Africa, Europe, Asia and the United States. His latest project, ALKEBULAN III: The Water Remembers, was inspired by his ancestral return to the Igbo people of Owerri, Nigeria and expands beyond music into film to explore ancestry, remembrance and the enduring connection between Africa and the global Black diaspora.
