Ancestry is looking for a Content Data Production Specialist, who will report to the Content Data Production Manager based in the US. You will be working closely with a variety of teams across different countries to research, standardize, and organize data relating to historical record collections. This is a full-time position located in Paris, France, and will sit alongside our recently-acquired French company, Geneanet.

What you will do:

  • Gather and convert metadata to standard formats
  • Generate data files for use by internal and external customers
  • Identify, research, and acquire sources of historical data authorities
  • Organize and structure content databases
  • Work with multiple collection projects simultaneously, each with their own deadline
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external teams

Who you are:

  • Fluent in spoken and written English and French
  • Experience in data management, with strong attention to detail
  • Able to pick up new technical/computer tasks easily and quickly
  • Able to make decisions and work autonomously
  • Experienced in history or genealogy research
  • Comfortable building relationships across a variety of geographically dispersed teams

This is a full time, permanent role with full benefits, including  25 days paid time off, stock and wellbeing allowance.
