Position Overview: Ancestry seeks a talented Director of Mobile Product Management  to join our team. You will lead a team of customer obsessed PM’s and scrum teams managing our suite of mobile applications on both iOS and Android.  This role is responsible for the end-to-end experiences that work as the beating heart of Ancestry’s Family History and DNA products. You will work closely with Product & Technology leadership, Marketing, PR, legal, and customer service to develop and launch the next generation features that help customers discover, craft, and connect around their family story.

What you will do...

  • Define the vision, strategy, and goals  for our mobile applications. In addition, you will build the mobile roadmap and gain organizational alignment while bridging the gap between both business and customer needs.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of product managers to iterate and execute the roadmap for our mobile products.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, research, marketing, legal, PR, and customer service to build, test, and launch new features to customers across all our product categories. 

Who you are...

  • 5+ years leadership experience delivering delightful and innovative consumer Internet and/or mobile products.
  • A proven track record of delivering data driven insights and executing at scale (serving millions of customers) through strong partnerships with Design, Research, Engineering, and Analytics.
  • Ability to craft a product strategy and vision, and translating that into an agile & iterative product roadmap.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with customers, peers, colleagues, and executives based across various locations both in the US and globally.
