Ancestry is looking for a passionate, data-driven, and highly-motivated Associate Marketing Manager to join the Performance Marketing team. The Performance Marketing team is responsible for driving new customer acquisition through paid digital channels such as Paid Search, Display, Paid Social, and Affiliates. The Associate Marketing Manager, Performance Marketing will be responsible for supporting the performance marketing channel leads on the many campaigns and marketing initiatives the team undertakes to run daily operations and deliver on high-growth business objectives.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform a range of marketing support duties related to the daily operations of our performance marketing channels, including: Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic Display, Content Marketing, and Affiliates
  • Assist our in-house channel managers and external agency partners in setting up, managing, and optimizing evergreen and promotional performance marketing campaigns
  • Upload creative to the ad platforms and create tracking links to support integrated marketing campaigns, marketing tests, or otherwise as needed
  • Aid with forecasting and reporting under the direction of the channel managers
  • Work with vendors and Procurement to get Media Insertion Orders submitted and approved
  • Create purchase orders and track vendor expenses, working with Accounting to manage timely payment of all invoices
  • Help the team create presentations to report out on performance and progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders
  • Support the team with ad-hoc projects as needed

Who You Are:

  • Ideally 2-4 years in a similar role at an agency or brand
  • Must be proactive, highly-organized, and capable of balancing multiple people and performing multiple priorities simultaneously and successfully
  • Analytical with a strong interest in data-driven marketing
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with both internal and external teams
  • Advanced expertise in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.) and PowerPoint/Google Slides
  • Some hands-on experience in digital marketing platforms and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau)
  • Willingness to learn and work on a fast-paced team focused on delivering strong growth for the business and you professionally
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience
