About the team and role:
Recommendations on Ancestry help people make unique and powerful discoveries about their family. The Recommendations team focuses on enhancing and expanding the ways recommendations guide people to:
- Discover their family legacy and identity
- Craft their family story to highlight exciting and meaningful discoveries
- Connect and share with their family and community
Passionate and values driven, this team guides our users with recommendations that resonate and are personal and engaging to help our customers better find and understand more about their family.
As a Principal Product Manager on this team, you will help drive the vision and strategic roadmap that evolves Ancestry’s recommendation ecosystem. You will partner tightly with leadership and domain stakeholders in the development of Ancestry’s recommendations engine, and the delivery of recommendations to customers throughout the product experience. You will create ever increasing customer value through one of the world’s most unique data sets to create a delightful and engaging experience. You will partner with our Platform Product Managers, UX Designers, Researchers, Subject Matter Experts to make the Ancestry recommendations experience faster, easier, and more fun, uncovering unique discoveries about our users and their families.
This position can be based in our Lehi, UT Corporate or San Francisco offices. We are currently 100% remote. Our offices are open for employees who wish to work onsite on a voluntary basis.
