Ancestry is looking for a Senior Executive Assistant to partner in supporting our Chief Legal Officer and the Legal Leadership team. Critical to your success will be your superior communication skills, excellent judgment, attention to detail, and ability to juggle tasks. Your skill set will set you apart from your peers and clearly demonstrate your pride in the quality of your work. You don’t settle for “good enough” and you know how important it is to manage your time and meet deadlines.

What You'll Do:

  • Heavy calendaring in Outlook, which requires flexibility and partnering with other Ancestry Executive Assistants
  • Schedule and coordinate business travel, including itineraries, reservations, and expense reports
  • Communicate with leader to prioritize and complete tasks with high levels of urgency
  • Schedule and coordinate company events such as leadership off-sites
  • Other projects and responsibilities as requested

Who You Are:

  • 7+ years of executive administrative experience supporting c-level executive
  • Previous event planning experience
  • Strong reporting, organization, and planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and detail-oriented
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Customer-oriented with a true desire to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability/willingness to learn new software
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently and be a part of a highly dynamic team
  • Absolute discretion, and an ability to maintain as confidential, all company, departmental and other proprietary and sensitive information, is mandatory
  • Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a smile and a sense of humor
