Ancestry is looking for a Senior Manager to join our International Consumer Insights team based in the UK. You will bring a genuine passion for the consumer, and will help us drive business growth through deep consumer and market understanding, and fueling a consumer-driven company culture. You will report to the Director, International Consumer Insights, focusing on the International (except North America) business. This role is to be based in the UK, either from our Office in Central London or from home, as part of our flexible location company policy.

What you will do

  • Identify and bring-to-life insights about Ancestry’s different customers, markets and Ancestry brand for our International locations.
  • Develop and synthesize insights that inform brand strategy, media and creative and drive key business decisions across marketing.
  • Manage all aspects of primary research, including partnering with key stakeholders, designing research methodologies, implementing high-quality data collection, and analyzing results.
  • Translate research findings into clear and actionable insights.
  • Present and disseminate results and recommendations to teams and senior leaders.
  • Connect with the North America insights team to share best practices.

What you will need:

  • 6+ years total of consumer-focused market research experience including client side in either packaged goods, online services, e-commerce, gaming, and/or mobile applications.
  • Research experience across a broad range of qualitative and quantitative methods with a strong skill set in quantitative analysis and statistics.
  • Interest and ability to stay up to date with new techniques and tools as needed and identify better ways to answer business questions.
  • Expert in understanding business needs, framing ambiguous problems and creatively leveraging research methods to answer difficult questions.
  • Top-notch writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated team player, able to collaborate across multiple projects and teams.
  • A proactive, self-starter, you are accomplished at balancing multiple priorities/needs and comfortable with some ambiguity.

This is a full time, permanent role with full benefits, including 25 days paid time off, annual bonus, stock and health insurance. Occasional attendance in our London office would be expected, but our working location policy is fully flexible.
