The Program Manager, Workplace Experience, plays a pivotal role in executing the strategy for the workplace experience at Ancestry. This position requires a highly organized, proactive individual with a passion for creating a positive and productive work environment. As part of the Places team, you will collaborate cross-functionally with teams like IT, Finance, People, and other key stakeholders to design, manage, and execute workplace initiatives that support the evolving needs of the organization.
Additionally, this role includes managing vendor relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality workplace services and enhancing the overall workplace experience to promote employee satisfaction and operational efficiency.
The Program Manager will also focus on conducting research and analysis to support the Sr. Director in shaping the global workplace experience strategy, identifying opportunities for innovation, and providing key insights into the future of work. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and enjoys tackling complex projects that have a direct impact on employee engagement, productivity, and organizational success.
What you will do...
Workplace Experience: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement initiatives that enhance the workplace experience, aligning these initiatives with organizational priorities and employee needs.
Cross-functional Project Leadership: Lead and support various workplace experience initiatives by partnering with teams such as IT, Finance, People, and other functional areas to ensure smooth execution and alignment with business goals.
Strategic Research and Analysis: Conduct research and data analysis to assist the Sr. Director in shaping the global workplace experience strategy, identifying trends, benchmarking best practices, and providing actionable insights on future workplace innovations and improvements.
Project Management: Develop and manage detailed project plans for workplace experience initiatives, ensuring that all milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are met. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and alignment with organizational priorities.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders across departments, providing regular updates on project progress, gathering feedback, and ensuring that the needs of various teams are considered throughout the project lifecycle.
Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with workplace service vendors, ensuring contracts align with organizational goals and budgets. Monitor vendor performance to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services and address any issues proactively.
Operational Support: Support the implementation of workplace experience initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Help manage the day-to-day operational details of the projects and work with various teams to address challenges and opportunities.
Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess the effectiveness of workplace experience initiatives, gathering feedback from employees and stakeholders to refine and improve future projects.
Who you are...
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in program or project management, with a focus on workplace experience, office design, or employee engagement.
Strong ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as IT, Finance, People, and other internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships and ensuring service quality.
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present findings and ideas to senior leadership and a wide range of audiences.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects simultaneously.
Experience with workplace strategy, employee experience programs, or organizational development is a plus.
Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and data analysis tools is a plus.
As a signatory of the ParityPledge in Support of Women and the ParityPledge in Support of People of Color, Ancestry values pay transparency and pay equity. We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position: $60,480 - $80,640 with eligibility for bonus, equity and comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision.
