Ancestry HistoryMakers Tour

HistoryMakers Tour

This fall, Ancestry will kick off our third annual National HistoryMakers Tour. We'll be visiting schools that have been designated as either Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI), and Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCU) in order to:
  • Connect extraordinary students to Ancestry internships and full-time roles 
  • Host informational sessions for students and alumni who are interested in the tech industry
  • Engage with those who are currently unsure of their professional ambitions
We’re eager to meet with underrepresented talent who are interested in the fields of science, technology, engineering, data and computer science, business, marketing, product, UX, legal, finance, product analytics, and human resources.

Ancestry HistoryMakers Scholarship

At Ancestry, we have a long-term commitment to enhancing education and empowering the next generation of history makers. This is why we’re proud to sponsor the 2024 HistoryMakers Scholarship Fund. Four $2,500 scholarships will be awarded at each of the 2024 Ancestry HistoryMakers Tour schools.

To qualify, students must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate enrolled at one of our partner schools and have demonstrated leadership through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities.

Key Dates:

  • October 25, 2024: Applications must be received by 3:00 p.m.(CT)
  • December 2024: Scholarship award winners will be notified
