The Title Research Associate Manager is responsible for the daily research of historical newspapers, primarily using resources provided by national libraries and archives.  This part-time position requires the highest degree of attention to detail while managing the workflow of a large volume of historical data.

What You’ll Do:

  • Research newspapers to identify coverage, location, unique catalog identification, and other information.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on Newspapers.com and adjust as needed
  • Work with the production team to prioritize new content sources according to the company’s content strategy plan
  • Assist with index quality control when needed
  • Research copyright filings for newspaper titles

Who You are:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and additional complex spreadsheets
  • Experience with library research and use of electronic card cataloging a plus
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • BA or BS degree or 3+ years of work experience in a similar field
  • Strong communication skills, successful issue resolution ability and a strong collaborative approach
