Position:  Staff Software Engineer (Scrum Facilitator)

Rate of Pay:   $148,920.00 - 223,320.00  per year 

Job Duties:  Develop and test iOS features for Ancestry mobile application. Write multi-platform code to support iOS and Android using Kotlin Multi-Platform. Backend API development using Node and GraphQL to provide data to iOS and Android apps and website. Lead dev designs and code reviews. Mentoring/Training interns and junior engineers. Feature design and review planning.  Coaching team on best practices on agile development. Run team scrum meetings, including daily standups, feature refinement, sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retrospective, and harmonization meetings. Manage scrum team board, ensuring stories are well defined and are tracked properly through the development process for visibility by other stakeholders. Conflict resolution on team and resolving roadblocks on stories.  Work with Product team to develop roadmap and prioritize stories.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or foreign equivalent, and one (1) year of experience as a Software Engineer. 

Special Requirements:  Experience must include one (1) year with each of the following: 

• Xcode, Swift, and Swift UI
• GraphQL and Node for backend development and data aggregation
• Kotlin for multi-platform development
• Backend build systems and able to deploy with Harness
• Android Studio
• Bitrise build platform
• Github source repository
