As a Content Production Associate, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, high-quality content that supports exceptional customer experiences. You will uphold these standards by conducting rigorous quality assurance checks, managing your schedule to meet daily production goals, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, values precision, and takes pride in executing detailed tasks with consistency and technical proficiency.

What You’ll Do....

  • Conduct Quality Assurance: Perform QA audits on vendor-submitted units to ensure strict compliance with Ancestry’s accuracy and content standards.

  • Maintain Metadata Integrity: Assign standardized titles from the Library of Congress (LOC) database to newspaper projects to ensure consistency across the platform.

  • Drive Production Excellence: Consistently meet or exceed Image Per Hour (IPH) and daily targets while maintaining high levels of attention to detail.

  • Support Reporting & Forecasting: Submit detailed weekly hour allocations and provide projected hours to assist the Team Lead in resource planning.

  • Analyze Quality Trends: Identify and document issues in work units, providing clear examples to leadership to support continuous quality improvements.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Contribute to team alignment through active participation in weekly stand-ups and quarterly engagement activities.

  • Foster Process Improvement: Share new ideas and best practices to improve team efficiency and participate in learning projects to develop new technical skills.

  • Support Operational Goals: Engage in cross-departmental initiatives to identify workflow improvements and support overall operational excellence.

Who You Are....

  • Experienced: 1+ years of experience in content production or operational support roles (High School Diploma or GED required).

  • Detail-Oriented: Highly organized and focused on accuracy, especially when managing multiple priorities.

  • Resilient: Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining high levels of consistency and engagement.

  • Technically Proficient: Able to quickly learn new proprietary tools and systems; proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

  • Strong Communicator: Possess solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discuss technical findings clearly.

  • Problem Solver: Demonstrate sound judgment in identifying and escalating issues to ensure workflow efficiency.

  • Team Player: Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience with digitization or historical archival work.

  • Familiarity with digital content management or metadata standards.

  • Prior experience in a production-oriented environment.

  • A passion for family history, archives, or library sciences.

We are pleased to share the base hourly range for this position: $13.41- $16.75 with eligibility for bonus, equity and comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision.
