The Talent Acquisition Operations Lead will be responsible for driving operational excellence across our global recruiting function. This role will focus on improving processes, leveraging data-driven insights, optimizing technology, ensuring compliance, and creating a seamless experience for candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment and is passionate about supporting a scalable talent acquisition infrastructure.

What you do:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize recruitment workflows for efficiency and impact, ensuring alignment with Ancestry’s global hiring strategy.

  • Oversee the administration and enhancement of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools. Partner with HRIS, IT, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and functionality.

  • Build and maintain talent acquisition dashboards to provide visibility into hiring trends, recruiter performance, and process effectiveness. Translate data into actionable insights to support strategic workforce planning.

  • Ensure adherence to hiring policies, global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and equitable hiring practices. Drive accountability in process documentation and training.

  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including background check providers, job boards, and recruitment marketing platforms, ensuring optimal ROI and service alignment.

  • Collaborate closely with recruiters and stakeholders to optimize the hiring journey, reducing friction and improving overall satisfaction.

  • Develop and implement training programs to upskill hiring managers on tools, systems, and best practices that reinforce a data-driven, inclusive hiring approach.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition operations, recruiting, or HR technology.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution.

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and recruitment tools.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).

  • Deep understanding of recruiting compliance and employment laws, with a focus on equitable hiring practices.

  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Passion for leveraging technology and process improvements to elevate the recruiting function.

As a signatory of the ParityPledge in Support of Women and the ParityPledge in Support of People of Color, Ancestry values pay transparency and pay equity. We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position: $78,300 - $97,920 with eligibility for bonus, equity and comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision. The actual salary will vary by geographic region and job experience. We will share detailed compensation data for a specific location during the recruiting process.
